Collection I

Lilac season,
brought indoors.

Painted in thick, feathered strokes, her lilacs carry the scent of late May into any room. Above a sofa or in a quiet corner, they make a space feel softer and more alive.

In the details

A world
in colour.

Forty years of practice live in the surface of her work. Ridges of paint catch the light, colours sit side by side instead of blending, and a painting looks different in the morning than it does at dusk.

About the artist

Marina Norvina

For forty years, Marina has painted what moves her — lilacs in May, the sea at dusk, apples on a white cloth with the mountains behind.

Until now, almost every painting she made was given away: to friends, to neighbours, to anyone who stopped to admire one. Her work hangs in homes she has never been back to, chosen not by a gallery but by the people who loved it.

This is the first time her paintings are offered to the wider world. Each one is an original, painted by hand, and waiting for a wall of its own.

I paint the moments that make life feel a little warmer, kinder and more beautiful.

Every painting starts with something I saw and couldn't forget. A commission simply starts with something you saw.
